A little about me...
Hi! I am Dena Jones, BA, CVT, trainer, behavior consultant
As far back as I can remember I have been around animals. Growing up, I was the kid that cared for the neighborhood animals while people were away.
I have always been interested in behavior. I acquired my bachelor in Psychology. Worked in horse stable of 37, Zoo, Humane Society, and volunteered in other animal related areas.
After moving to Nebraska in 1998, I obtained my vet tech degree and worked in area vet clinics. I volunteered with PHS and the ER animal disaster board, and Tails of Love board.
In 2000, I started my professional pet sitting business. I am still caring for existing clients pets. Over the last 23 years, I have learned different ways to care for animals in various situations from owners and the vets of the areas. One condition can have multiple ways to treat/train. I can look at the circumstance and figure which suits the animal and owner best. I enjoyed helping the owners with training and behavioral care to keep them Happy at Home.
I have done a lifetime of rescue work. I specialize in feral/difficult cats to those dogs that no one else can catch. Time, patience and understanding is where I excel.
When I decided to transition into professional training, I studied and continue to study the the top trainers of the world. I have multiple certificates. More importantly, I am dedicated to making a better life for you and your pet.

9 - 16 WEEKS OF AGE
Puppy socialization which includes intro to people, animals, different sounds, subtrates, etc.
Puppy handling, basic obedience such as name, watch me, sit, touch, down, come, leave it, loose leash.
16 + weeks
Basic obedience, such as, name, watch me, touch, sit, down, come, loose leash, go to your mat, leave it, wait, stay, release, and more...
ADULT DOGS
Private training and behavior consulting
Basic Obedience
Improve communication with name, watch me, touch, sit , down, come, loose leash, stay, and leave it, and start impulse control.
Obedience 2 Must have completed basic
Continue to improve communication of basic and start work on more advanced cues. Wait, drop it, go to your mat, polite greeting, impulse control, and more.
Behavioral Consulting
Improve communication, impulse control, and confidence to help with behavioral issues:
Jumping, running away, dashing through the door, digging, barking, resource guarding, leash pulling, separation anxiety, shyness, fear, anxiety, and more.

Private behavioral consultation
CATS
Lets not forget our feline friends. Behavioral consulting is available. Litter box issues, fear, shyness, scratching, aggression, introductions, carrier training, socialization, and more.
I specialize in those pets that are shy and fearful. Patience and understanding is my forte.
